well... of 551 jobs advertised under Charities in the Guardian's job pages, 91 are for fundraisers and 168 are for managers. On a rough calculation, £3 million ($6 million) is available for fundraising; £6 million ($12 million) is available for managers. Not that it is anything (necessarily) to do with HRE, but one sometimes wonders if the 'Charity' world is not becoming a service industry, servicing mostly itself.
